She took on the name “Lady Gaga” from the Queen song, “Radio Ga Ga”
Her former mentor & lover, Rob Fusari accidentally gave her the nickname through a spelling error in a text message.
While texting the soon-to-be-Gaga, Rob typed in “Radio GaGa” and the spell checker on his phone automatically changed it to “Lady Gaga”, after reading the message; Stefani thought it was perfect… And from that day the world would call her by one name. Lady Gaga.

According to an insider close to the Telephone star, the kooky singer “wants to be a college lecturer and has asked about a position at the famous Parsons School For Design.
